Articles of Incorporation Arkansas
To form a corporation in Arkansas, you must file articles of incorporation with the Arkansas Secretary of State. The form is customizable.
The articles of incorporation must include the following information:
- Name of the corporation
- Type of entity
- Corporate mailing and street address
- Corporate purpose
- Name, street, and mailing address of the registered agent
- The number of shares, class, rights and restrictions, and par value of stock, and a statement that the corporation will not commence business until consideration of the value of at least three hundred dollars ($300.00) has been received for the issuance of shares
- Incorporator’s name, street, and mailing address
- Directors’ names and addresses

Mandatory Additional Filings
In Arkansas, you must also complete the Corporate Franchise Tax contact information form, which is on page 2 of the articles of incorporation package. The form can be downloaded from the state’s website.
