Articles of Incorporation Kentucky

To form a corporation in Kentucky, you must file articles of incorporation. The form is customizable.

The articles of incorporation must include the following information:

  • Name of the corporation
  • Type of entity
  • Corporate mailing and street address
  • Name, street, and mailing address of the registered agent
  • Incorporator's name, street, and mailing address
  • The number of shares* authorized by the corporation and their class, rights, and restrictions

*Kentucky does not require you to disclose the par value of the stock. Par value is the price at which a company's shares are initially offered for sale.

Mandatory Additional Filings

In addition, in Kentucky you must file a registered agent consent form, officially consenting to act as a registered agent for the corporation.
