What to Do When Your Passport Is Lost or Stolen

When you believe your passport book or card has been lost or stolen, the first step is to report it to the correct government office. In this unfortunate situation, LegalNature is here to help. Simply begin our questionnaire, which allows you to indicate what you lost and how. We will then correspond with the Department of State on your behalf.

During this process, you will be required to supply some or all of the following information:

• Whether your passport book, passport card, or both have been lost or stolen
• Your full legal name and sex
• Your date of birth, place of birth, and social security number
• Your current address, phone number, and email address
• Details regarding your lost or stolen passport

If the status shows that you should have received it already, contact your dedicated Passport Specialist, who will help you track down your missing passport.
